Hello fellow bloggers.  My name is Brady Ward and I am an environmental studies major.  This blog has been created as an element of a course in international politics.  The assignment is to keep a Weblog focusing on an issue in contemporary international politics.  As an environmental studies major, I have had only limited exposure to the world of international politics.  An area of particular interest for me is international environmental politics.  I feel that the international community will play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of life on Earth.  Regional and global commons issues lurk dangerously on the horizon.  The issues that concern me most are global climate change and the loss of biodiversity.  This Blog will focus on a broad range of international environmental issues and the various state and non-state actors involved.
